Kinds of injection molding automatic extraction robots
◆Traverse Type Extraction Robots
 A robot who can move its takeout tooling (chuck) to 3 directions of horizontal (extract) , Traverse and Vertical direction [ length - width - height ], to take out parts or runner.
 It is a merit that the posture of chuck is unchange, which position a chuck is moved to. The chuck movement itself and chuck position shift were a different way of design, this is featuring a precision and multiform movement for the robot arm.
 There are types of, One chuck shift to 3 direction with 3 axis (single arm), and Two chucks of take out parts and runner separately with 5 axis (double arm): common in traverse.
◆Sprue Picker
 A robot with vertical, horizontal (extract) plus swing axis, vertically pull up part then swing slantingly to unload parts.
 It has not traverse axis therefore it is a strong point that compact, light-weight body can do and economical price is possible.
 Mainly for picking up runner.
◆ Swing Type Robots
  Side-entry Type Robots
 Swing type robots, side-entry type robots both take out parts from the side way of mold. Swing type robots turn its arm to take out parts, with 2 axis of horizontal (extract) and swing movement.
Side entry type robots are installed on the side of mold to take out parts, with 2 axis of horizontal (extract) and traverse.
Both feature very high speed and precision movement though their applicable are limited on only few kinds of mold and movement.

Feature of Servo Robots and Air Cirinder Robots
●Servo Robots
The robots which used a servomotor as a source of power.
A servomotor is a matter of motor which can control a movement delicately by measurement's ・ memorizing always the rotation of the motor.
Equipped with servo motor, robot chuck can be stoped in every position, gone to and from, and moved at higher and lower speed. So these robots can be made to do various precise movements.
Those years, servo motor market price down caused servo robots became the main steam of extraction robots.

・Performing a high speed and precision.
・Correctly moving with many functions like palletizing (line up) and others.
・Simply position adjusting for chuck position can recognized by numerical value.
・Simply setting by input numerical value in touch panel.
・Memorize each and every mold data, shorten the change mold time.
●Air Cylinder Robots
A robot using a power source of air cylinder.
By mechanically setup position or moving speed, its movement can be recognized easily.
Less expensive price.
We have also a combination type of servo motor and air cylinder.
